50s diner photoshoot

I went to the lovely portland studies in Manchester for a 50s inspired photoshoot.

I made 3 outfits of a nautical theme for our model, Natasha Jane Heard.

Everything went swimingly on the day, and we had a great MUA who I've not met before - Zan Atkinson.

Anyway enough of this, you want to see the photos!

Come on this day, this is your only chance to take part.

For our previous shows, we've had hundreds of applications, so now is the time to narrow it down to the very best models! We need ladies and men for our stunning catwalk show which is now in it's second year in Manchester.

Models:
LADIES - 5ft7 + and size 10 and under
Wear tight jeans and vest and high heels

MEN - 5ft10 + and slim/medium build
Wear jeans (not baggy) and t-shirt and shoes.

You need not have catwalk experience, we just want to see you walk! - Just turn up on the day, that's it!

The actual Fashion Show will be on 11th Feb at Bar 38 in Manchester and is TF but you will get some great high res shots for your portfolio and a video as well as invaluable fashion contacts.

There'll also be lots of press there and Model Scouts on the look out

Fashion Show update! End of Summer Fashion Show and Spring Fashion Show

This is shameful how long I've left this!

but huzzah I am back!

Lots of stuff has happened since MARCH!

We had the lovely successful End of Summer Fashion Show in August.

Now we're busy planning for the 2011 Spring Fashion Show. As we've had far too many model applications to reply to in the past we've set up a casting day so we can meet and greet everyone and see them strut!

I went to India

and I had a great time

We rode a motorbike through the jungle and went to a different beach every day.

I will have more soon from my lovely film camera, but these will do for now!

So, it's march... Almost spring time!!! Sunshine is good... Got myself planning a trip to Barcelona and got a few shows lined up, including one next week!

Audrey Hepburn hair cut... attempt

I decided that my hair was getting a bit daft inbetween long and short stages.... To go way back and explain things, I shaved off my dreads last Sept and now I'm in some sort of shit hair limbo!

For now, I figured getting it cut would give me a little fix for the the time being until I decide what the hell to do.

I think mainly it was achieved, though it looks nicer on Audrey. Wow, the woman in the salon put crap loads of wax/ other weird hair products on, that was gross, I had to get that out of my hair instantly!!

The first thing my dad said was 'You look like a boy'

A week on I think it's getting a little better and not feeling too much regret now, despite what him and my grandma say.
